The story+
The Aveline began as an argument about linings. We wanted a bag that would record its owner — the soft collapse at the corners, the darkening where a hand always lands — and a lining hides all of that. So we removed it, and thickened the leather instead.
One hide, folded twice, saddle-stitched by a single maker from start to finish. It stands unaided when empty and slouches honestly when full.

Care+
- Keep in the cotton dust bag, away from direct heat.
- Blot spills, never rub. Treat with a neutral balm twice a year.
- Expect the tan to deepen — the patina is the point.
Questions+
- Will the unlined interior mark?
- The interior is finished with the same tanned surface as the exterior, so it develops the same patina. A pen sleeve is stitched into the side wall to keep ink away from the panel.
- Can it be monogrammed?
- Blind embossing in up to three characters is offered on the base of the front panel. Personalised pieces are final sale.
